Regular Plastic - $13.00 (Prices may vary)

Degradable Plastic - $15.85 - ENVIRO-BAG with EPI's TDPA

Paper - $65.00 -  Estimate - Printed paper bags with Handles

Normal Bag Mix – 92% Plastic and 8% Paper (Estimate)

Weighted Average Cost - $17.16

Mix after going to ENVIRO-BAG – 99% Plastic and 1% Paper

New Weighted Average Cost - $16.83

In addition to the above savings, the “Enviro-Bag Programme” will bring about a heightened awareness of the need to conserve and reduce the number of bags used for each order.  A renewed emphasis by Management on proper bagging techniques and practices can easily bring about a significant additional savings, perhaps as much as 10% in many cases.

The Manager and the Front-End Manager should work with the Cashiers and Baggers and emphasize the importance of offering the new 100% Degradable Bag whenever a Customer asks for paper.
